Yan Chai Hospital Community Pharmacy

To support the HKSAR Government’s Primary Healthcare Blueprint and the Community Pharmacy Scheme, the Yan Chai Hospital Community Pharmacy was commenced service in July 2026.  The establishment of the Community Pharmacy marks an important milestone in the Hospital's primary healthcare development, extending its services to delivering accessible, professional, and patient-centred pharmaceutical care, helping community members better manage their health and medication needs.

• Provides dispensing services and health consultations to enhance the public’s ability to manage their own health.
• Offers affordable medicines and healthcare products to help reduce the financial burden of healthcare on the community, while strengthening district-based primary healthcare services and reducing reliance on public healthcare services.
• Features a private consultation room where professional counselling services are provided to improve public understanding of medication use.
• Provides medication counselling for patients on long-term treatment, with follow-up services available when necessary to address medication-related concerns, improve therapeutic outcomes, and enhance medication safety.
