Yan Chai Hospital Sheung Wan Rehabilitation Services Centre – Shine Court
Year of Establishment: 2007
Introduction:
It is a self-financing hostel. The setting of the centre is to provide 24-hour hostel service to mentally handicapped persons who can only live semi-independently with a fair amount of assistance from hostel staff in daily activities. The centre provides diversified training and activities such as daily life, community living skill, emotional management and problem solving training to service users aiming at developing independence, developing a sense of belonging through participation in hostel life, and facilitating their integration into the community.
Target Service User:
- Aged 15 or above;
- capable of semi-independent living; and
- physically healthy with no active infectious disease and severe distributing behaviors.
Facility:
Bedrooms, dining room, multi-training room, pantry, and laundry.
