Officer-in-charge (Social Service)

Internal audit work for Yan Chai Hospital Social Services Department

Major Responsibilities

• Schedule, plan and execute internal audit projects and/or ad hoc reviews/investigations on different areas to determine the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control and compliance
• Prepares internal audit reports and makes recommendations on enhancements of internal controls
• Undertakes special investigations and ad hoc projects assigned by senior management
• Assists in policy review and establishment
• Follow up on remedial status of issues identified during audit
• Supervise the Internal Audit Assistant in daily duties

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related disciplines
• Professional qualification in accounting or internal auditing is preferred
• Over 8 years of experience in internal or external audit field, preferably with social service audit experience, and at least 5 years at supervisory level 
• Good problem solving skills, self-motivated and independent
• Strong interpersonal, supervisory and analytical skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Proficiency in MS Office & Chinese word processing
• Immediate availability is preferred
